CHO Yoon sung, <SEED>, 2022, 30"
“SEED,” our second collaboration with Professor Cho Yoon-sung of Chosun University, is an exhibition of four different types of signage exhibited within COEX that incorporates various attempts to enhance the effect of anamorphic LEDs. Symbolized objects in the artist's paintings escape their frames and float with their own life, providing a moment of peaceful contemplation in the middle of daily life through a rich flight of life symbols in a cycle of creation and destruction.
조선대학교 조윤성 교수님과의 두 번째 협업 작품인 <SEED>는 코엑스 내부에 설치된 4개의 서로 다른 형태의 사이니지에서 진행한 본 전시는 아나모픽 LED의 효과를 극대화하기 위한 다양한 시도가 녹아있습니다. 작가의 회화 작품 속 기호화된 오브제들이 액자 속에서 빠져나와 스스로의 생명력으로 부유함으로써, 생성과 소멸을 반복하는 생명 기호들의 풍요로운 비행을 통해 일상 속 고요한 명상의 시간을 제공합니다.
