Sticky Monster Lab, <SML CHRISTMAS> 2022, 30"
Sticky Monster Lab is a design studio that depicts the daily lives of individuals through a virtual monster world. The studio is engaged in diverse activities, including animation, graphics, exhibitions, brand collaborations, and merchandising. This work conveys the warmth and simplicity of Christmas and the end of the year, the precious moments spent with loved ones, even if they are not extraordinary or spectacular, through the moment of monsters with expressionless faces gazing at a tree that shines brightly, much like how our outward appearance conceals many inner thoughts and emotions.
사람의 일상을 몬스터라는 가상의 세계를 통해 보여주는 스티키몬스터랩은 애니메이션, 그래픽, 전시, 브랜드 협업, 상품 등 다양한 방식으로 활동하는 디자인 스튜디오입니다. 겉으로는 쉽사리 드러나지 않지만 마음 속에 많은 생각과 감정을 품고 있는 우리의 모습처럼 무표정한 얼굴로 환하게 빛나는 트리를 바라보는 몬스터들의 순간을 통해 특별하거나 화려하지 않아도 소중한 사람과 함께 하는 소박하지만 따뜻한 크리스마스와 한해의 마무리를 바라는 마음을 담았습니다.
