Artist Choi Jae-hoon has used installations, videos, and sculptures to depict the contradictory compatibility of wounds and healing, life and death. "VALLEY OF WOUND" is a healing installation in which visitors are comforted by writing down things in their lives that have become deep wounds on a piece of paper, crumpling the paper without reading it, and placing it in a tank of water. The illusion of a valley of paper was generated in this media art by photographing the installation.
최재훈 작가는 설치, 영상, 조각 등 다양한 미디엄을 통해 상처와 치유, 삶과 죽음의 역설적 호환성을 표현해왔습니다. <VALLEY OF WOUND>는 관람객들이 살면서 깊은 상처가 되어버린 일들을 종이에 적고 그 종이를 읽지 않고 구겨서 수조에 넣음으로써 위로를 받는 치유적 설치 작업이며 본 미디어아트는 설치 작품을 촬영하여 종이로 이루어진 계곡처럼 연출한 작품입니다.
